Which glasses should you avoid with a square face?

Angular frames with sharp corners reinforce the straight lines of the face instead of balancing them. This is especially true of low, wide rectangular frames and square wayfarers.

That does not mean angular glasses are off limits. If you like straight lines, a frame with slightly rounded corners can be a compromise.
