How do you buy glasses online?
Buying glasses online takes a few minutes: choose a frame, choose your lenses, add your prescription and place the order. At Corlin, you add the prescription by uploading a file or typing in the values, so you need a valid prescription from an optician before you start. How to buy glasses online, step by step
Ordering prescription glasses from us takes a few minutes. Have your prescription ready, either as a file to upload or with the values at hand to enter manually. Six steps, from frame to delivery:
1. Choose your frame
Start by choosing a model and color. Every one of our optical frames can be ordered with or without prescription lenses, and the frame price is shown on each product page.
Each frame lists its measurements under Size & fit: lens width, bridge width and temple length. Compare them with a pair of glasses you already wear. The measurements are usually printed on the inside of the temple, and they are a more reliable guide than a photo on a screen.
Unsure about the fit? Order the Blue Light version of the frame first. It ships with clear lenses and can be returned within 30 days.
2. Choose with or without prescription
On the product page you choose whether you want lenses made to your prescription, or the frame without prescription lenses.
3. Choose your lens type
If you chose prescription lenses, the next choice is the lens type. It decides which distance the lens is made for. If you are unsure which one you need, ask your optician.
Terminal lenses may be covered by an employer contribution. Check with your employer before you order, and keep the order confirmation as your receipt.
4. Choose your lens function
The lens function decides what the lens does on top of correcting your vision. You choose one of three.
Anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coating is included on all three.
5. Add your prescription
You need a valid prescription from an optician or eye doctor. You add it on the product page, in the same step as your lens choices, in one of two ways:
Check every value before you place the order. The glasses are made to the values you enter, so a wrong value cannot be returned. If you are unsure about anything, ask your optician first. Forgot to add your prescription? Place a new order with it and return the pair you ordered without.
6. Place your order
Complete your order in checkout, and you get an order confirmation by email. We then grind the lenses to your prescription, fit them in the frame and ship the finished glasses to your door within 6–12 days, with free worldwide shipping.
Every pair of our glasses has a one-year warranty. It can take a few days to get used to a new strength or lens type, and sometimes longer.

Can you return prescription glasses?
No. Prescription glasses are made individually to your prescription, so they cannot be returned. The exception is glasses that are faulty or do not match what you ordered – then we sort it out with you. Every pair of our glasses also has a one-year warranty.
A frame without prescription lenses is a standard product and can be returned within 30 days. That is why trying the frame first makes sense if you are unsure about the fit.
There are three ways to try a frame before you order prescription lenses: try selected models at one of our authorized retailers, order the Blue Light version with clear lenses and return it within 30 days if it doesn’t suit you, or order the sunglasses version and try the fit at home.

How much do prescription glasses cost?
Our prescription glasses cost the frame price plus the lenses. Frames cost 1 299 SEK to 1 499 SEK, and our prescription lenses start at 895 SEK for both Standard and Terminal. The Original lens function is included, Blue Light adds 300 SEK and Photochromic adds 500 SEK. Anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coating is always included, so a complete pair starts at 2 194 SEK.
Can I return prescription glasses?
No, prescription glasses are made to your prescription and cannot be returned. The exception is glasses that are faulty or do not match your order, and then we help you sort it out. A frame without prescription lenses can be returned within 30 days, and every pair of our glasses has a one year warranty.
Can I try the frame before ordering prescription lenses?

What is the difference between Standard and Terminal lenses?
Standard lenses are single vision lenses made to your prescription and suit most everyday needs. Terminal lenses are designed for the intermediate distance of computer and screen work, and may be covered by an employer contribution. Both start at 895 SEK.
Can I order progressive glasses from Corlin?
Not at the moment. We offer Standard single vision lenses and Terminal lenses for screen work. If you need progressive lenses, you can order the frame without prescription lenses and have an optician fit your own lenses.
What happens if I enter the wrong prescription?
Prescription glasses are made to the values you enter, so glasses made from a wrong prescription cannot be returned. Check your prescription carefully before you order, and contact your optician if you are unsure about any value.
Can I buy glasses without a prescription?
Yes, every one of our optical frames can be ordered without prescription lenses. The frame then ships with blue light or sun lenses, depending on the version, and can be returned within 30 days. A local optician can later swap them for your own prescription lenses.
Does it take time to get used to new glasses?
Yes, new glasses can feel different at first while your eyes adjust to a new strength or lens type. Getting used to them can take a few days, and sometimes longer.
