Do Corlin ski goggles fit with helmets?
Both Reuben and Claude are designed to be worn over a ski or snowboard helmet. The adjustable strap allows you to adapt the fit to different helmet sizes and shapes.
Our interchangeable Reuben straps have an adjustable length of 45–55 cm and are designed to fit standard ski and snowboard helmets.
There is no proprietary clip or attachment required between the goggles and helmet. The strap simply sits around the outside of the helmet.
Because helmet and goggle shapes vary, the exact fit between the top of the frame and the helmet can differ between combinations. How the fit works
How Corlin ski goggles fit over a helmet
Both Corlin ski goggle models feature an adjustable elastic strap designed to sit securely around a helmet.
The strap should be adjusted with the helmet on. It should feel secure enough to keep the goggles in position without pulling the frame uncomfortably against your face.
Reuben straps also feature silicone grip detailing to help keep the strap in position against the helmet.
For the best fit, the upper edge of the goggle should sit naturally against the lower edge of the helmet without excessive pressure or a large gap between them.
How to adjust ski goggles for a helmet
Put your helmet on first
Always adjust your goggles while wearing your helmet. A strap adjusted around your head will usually need to be extended when worn over a helmet.
Position the goggles
Place the goggles comfortably against your face and position the strap around the outside of the helmet.
Adjust the strap
Tighten or loosen the strap until the goggles remain securely in position without creating unnecessary pressure around your face or nose.
Check that the top of the frame sits naturally against the helmet and that the ventilation areas remain unobstructed.
Should ski goggles go over or under a helmet?
The goggle strap should normally be worn around the outside of the helmet.
This allows the strap to sit securely around the helmet while keeping the goggles correctly positioned against your face. It also makes the strap adjustment easier to access.
Adjust the strap while wearing the helmet rather than setting the length beforehand.
Helmet fit and ventilation
A good helmet and goggle fit is not only about comfort. The way the two products meet can also affect ventilation.
Avoid positioning the helmet so that it pushes the goggles down or blocks the ventilation openings at the top of the frame. Keeping these areas clear supports airflow behind the lens and helps reduce the risk of fogging.

Reuben interchangeable straps
Reuben features interchangeable straps, allowing you to change the colour and appearance of your ski goggles without changing the frame.
Seven strap colours are available separately, all with the same adjustable 45–55 cm fit.
The interchangeable straps are designed specifically for Reuben and are not compatible with Claude.
Claude comes with its own adjustable strap designed for use with ski and snowboard helmets.
