Carpi Black Black is the 1960s oval reduced to a silhouette: black acetate, black lenses, and nothing else to read.

The material is Mazzucchelli acetate from Italy and the hinges are German OBE. The CR39 lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB rays. Designed in Stockholm.

The oval measures 52 mm across the lens and 37 mm deep, in our standard medium fit. A faux-leather case and a carton box are included.

No. Carpi has black-tinted CR39 lenses with UV400 protection, which blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays.

Which face shapes does Carpi suit?
Medium is our standard fit, so Carpi works on most faces. The soft oval balances angular features, and the 22 mm bridge is wider than usual, which helps if narrow frames tend to pinch.

Can the fit be adjusted?
Yes. Warm the temples in warm water for 10-20 seconds, bend them gently inwards or outwards, and let them cool to hold the new shape.
