Gelo Black Blue

Gelo Black Blue sets blue lenses in a black acetate front, with the crossbar that defines the model running above them. It is the sharpest contrast between frame and lens in the Gelo range.

The front is Mazzucchelli acetate from Italy and the hinges are German OBE. The CR39 lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB rays. Designed in Stockholm.

Oversized fit, 55 mm lens width, 47 mm lens height. Supplied with a faux-leather case and a carton box.

Are the lenses polarised?
No. Gelo has blue-tinted CR39 lenses with UV400 protection, which blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays.

Which face shapes does Gelo suit?
Oversized is our largest fit, so Gelo needs a medium to larger face to sit correctly. The crossbar draws a horizontal line across the front, which shortens the look of a longer face.

Can the fit be adjusted?
Yes. Warm the temples in warm water for 10-20 seconds, bend them gently inwards or outwards, and let them cool to hold the new shape.
