Modena Black Black

Modena Black Black is a large squared frame in bio-acetate, black throughout. At 149 mm across the front it is one of the widest frames we make.

The hinges are 3:2 metal rather than the OBE hinges used on our Italian acetate frames. The CR39 lenses carry UV400 protection and block 100% of UVA and UVB rays. Designed in Stockholm.

Oversized fit, 54 mm lens width, 47 mm lens height. A faux-leather case and a carton box are included.

Oversized is our largest fit. At 149 mm across the front Modena is one of our widest frames and suits medium to larger faces. Compare with a pair you already own: if the lens width is close to 54 mm, Modena will fit similarly.

Are the lenses polarised?
No. Modena has black-tinted CR39 lenses with UV400 protection, which blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays.

Which face shapes does Modena suit?
Oversized is our largest fit, and at 149 mm across the front Modena is one of our widest frames. It needs a medium to larger face to sit correctly.

What is the frame made of?
Bio-acetate, a plant-based acetate, with 3:2 metal hinges. Our Italian acetate frames use German OBE hinges instead.
