Retro and 1960s Sunglasses

Retro sunglasses borrow their shapes from earlier decades: the slim ovals and cat-eyes of the 1960s, round frames and the thin metal frames of the 1990s. Corlin draws these shapes in Stockholm and makes them for today.

What are retro sunglasses?

Retro sunglasses are frames inspired by shapes from earlier decades. The 1960s gave us slim ovals and cat-eyes, and the 1990s thin metal frames. A retro frame keeps the shape but uses modern lenses and materials.

At Corlin, Carpi and Luc are drawn from 1960s shapes, and Lucca from 1990s metal frames. Every pair has UV400 lenses.
