How do you stop ski goggles from fogging?
Keep them on your face and keep air moving across the lens. Fogging is warm, damp air meeting a cold surface, so a goggle fogs when you stand still, when it sits up on your forehead, or when the seal against your face has a gap in it. Every Corlin lens carries an Italian anti-fog layer on the inside to slow that down, and the one thing that undoes it is wiping the inner face while it is wet. The three habits that matter
Why ski goggles fog up
The air right against your face is warm and full of water, because that is what breathing and working uphill produce. The inside of the lens is sitting at whatever the mountain is. Where those two meet, the water leaves the air and settles on the lens as a film, and the film is what you are looking through.
So the question is never really whether a goggle can fog. It is whether that warm air gets carried away before it condenses. Three habits decide most of it: standing still while you are still hot, parking the goggle up on your forehead or the top of your helmet where your own body heat pours into it, and skiing with a seal that has a gap in it. A goggle pushed out of place by a helmet brim, or worn loose enough to slide, is taking in warm air faster than any layer can deal with.
Get air across it
Keep the goggle on your face and start moving. Air passing the lens is what clears a light film, and it clears it in a few turns.
Leave the inside alone
The anti-fog layer is on the inner face, so a glove across it does more harm than the fog did. If the inside is wet, let it dry untouched.
Dry them open
At the end of the day leave them out at room temperature with nothing pressed against the lens, rather than sealed wet into a bag.

Skiing in fog is a different problem

Questions about anti-fog ski goggles
Are Corlin ski goggles anti-fog?
Yes. Every magnetic lens in the range carries an Italian anti-fog layer on its inner face and a scratch-resistant coating on the outer one, and that is true of all nineteen of them, the clear lens included.
It is the same treatment on both frames, so it is not something you choose between Reuben and Claude. What Corlin publishes about the layer stops there: no brand name, no standard, no figure.
Why do my ski goggles fog up if they are anti-fog?
Because a treated surface slows condensation down rather than preventing it. Warm damp air off your face still meets a cold lens, and if nothing carries that air away it turns into a film anyway.
In practice it comes down to three things: stopping while you are hot, resting the goggle against your forehead or helmet, and a seal with a gap in it. Fix those and the layer has a chance to do its job.
Can I wipe the inside of a ski goggle lens?
No, and this is the one habit worth breaking. The anti-fog treatment is on the inner face, so dragging a glove, a sleeve or a dry cloth across it takes the treatment with it, and that damage does not come back.
If the inside is wet, leave it to dry on its own and handle the lens at the edges. The outer face is the one with the scratch-resistant coating, and it is the only one made to be touched.
How should I dry ski goggles after a day of skiing?
Open, at room temperature, with nothing resting on the lens. A goggle zipped wet into a bag is still wet the next morning, and drying it against a radiator or with hot air is how people cook a frame.
Brush the snow out of the lens seat while you are at it, and keep the lens you are not using in the case that comes with the goggle rather than loose in a pocket.
Do ski goggles fog more on the lift?
Usually, yes, and it is not the goggle that changed. You have just finished a run, you are warm, and on a chairlift there is nothing pushing air past the lens, so the fog you notice at the top of the mountain was made on the way up.
It clears on the first turns. Lifting the goggle off your face on the lift feels like the fix and tends to be the opposite, because your forehead is the warmest, wettest thing near it.
Which lens should I use when it is foggy?
A Category 1 lens, orange or pink. Fog outside the goggle is a contrast problem: it flattens the light, the snow stops showing where it rises and falls, and a Category 3 lens takes away light the scene did not have to spare.
