Glasses for Small Faces
If you have a small or narrow face, width matters most when you choose glasses. A frame that is too wide easily takes over the face. Here you can see our narrowest frames, Celia, Aidan and Selma, and how to compare the measurements with glasses you already own.

Which glasses suit a small face?
A small face suits glasses that are narrow overall and have moderately sized lenses. The frame should be about as wide as your face and not stick out past your cheeks. Lightweight metal frames and slim oval frames usually work especially well. At Corlin, Celia, Aidan and Selma are our narrowest frames, from 1,299 SEK. See frames for small faces
Narrow acetate eyeglass frames
Selma and Aidan are slim oval frames in Italian Mazzucchelli acetate. Selma is described as a frame for small to medium faces, and at 139 millimeters Aidan is one of our narrowest frames.

Celia is our narrowest frame, 135 millimeters in total. The round frame in lightweight stainless steel gives an airy look and takes up little space on the face.
Our narrowest frame
All optical framesHow narrow are the frames?
Total width is the measurement that tells you most about whether a frame suits a small face. For comparison, our widest frames, Todd and Will, are 145 millimeters.
How do I know which size I need?
The easiest way is to start from a pair of glasses that fit you well. Measure the total width straight across the front, or read the measurements on the inside of the temple, and compare with the table above.
If your current glasses are about 135 to 140 millimeters wide, Celia, Aidan and Selma are a good fit. If they are clearly narrower than 135 millimeters, even our narrowest frames may feel large.
Glasses for narrow faces
A narrow face is often also a little longer than it is wide. The same rule applies to the width: the frame should not be wider than your face.
The lens height, on the other hand, can be a little larger, because tall lenses cover more of the length of the face and create balance. Celia has 46 millimeter tall lenses and therefore suits narrow, long faces well.
Can you wear large glasses with a small face?
Yes, if the width is right. Large lenses can work even on a small face, as long as the frame is not wider than the face. It is usually the total width, not the size of the lenses, that makes a frame look too big.
If you want a bolder look, read more on our page about large glasses, where Kim and Gelo have large lenses but a total width of only 140 millimeters.
Can I get the glasses with prescription?
Yes. All the frames on this page can be ordered with lenses made to your prescription. You choose the lens type and enter your values when you order.
Good to know
A complete pair with prescription costs from 2,194 SEK with Celia and from 2,394 SEK with Aidan or Selma. If you are unsure about the size, you can first order the frame as a Blue Light model without prescription and return it within 30 days.
