What are transparent glasses?

Transparent glasses are frames in see-through acetate, either completely clear or with a tint like brown. Because light passes through the frame, it is less prominent than a black or patterned frame. Compare the shape, the measurements and which face shapes usually suit each model. All four models come in clear transparent, and Will, Kim and Fred also come in brown transparent.

Do transparent glasses suit everyone?

Transparent glasses suit most people, because the frame takes on the color of the skin behind it. It gives no harsh contrast and blends in more easily than black frames.

Transparent is a particularly good choice if you have fair skin and light hair, if you are wearing glasses for the first time or if you want a frame that does not dominate your face. If you want a little more definition without losing the lightness, brown transparent is a good middle ground.

In a transparent frame, details like the hinges show through, and fingerprints and dirt are more visible than on a dark frame. With a little regular care, the frame stays clear.
