Black sunglasses from Corlin

Black is the most classic sunglasses color, and most Corlin models come in an all-black version. This collection gathers every frame we make in black, from cat-eye and aviator shapes to wayfarers and slim ovals, with black, blue or gradient lenses. Every pair has UV400 lenses, and you can also browse all sunglasses.

Black sunglasses by shape

Black sunglasses for men and women

Most of our black sunglasses are unisex. If you are looking for black sunglasses for men, Todd, Marcel, Jean, Jimi, Idris and Sonney are in our men's sunglasses. For black sunglasses for women, Selma, Ana, Carpi, Louis and Lou are among the styles in our women's sunglasses.

Black lenses, blue lenses or gradient?

Most frames here come with black lenses, which keep colors closest to how they look without sunglasses. Todd, Alex, Idris, Sam, Gelo and Tempo also come as a black frame with blue lenses, for a cooler and more colored look. Bernard has a black gradient lens.

Do black sunglasses protect your eyes better?

No. The color of the lens does not decide the protection. A dark lens without a UV filter can even let more UV light reach the eye, because the pupils widen behind it. Every Corlin lens is UV400 and blocks UVA and UVB radiation up to 400 nanometers, whatever its color.

Do black sunglasses suit everyone?

Black frames give the strongest contrast against skin and hair, which is why they work on most people and with most outfits. If you have very fair hair and skin and want a softer look, a tortoise or brown frame is gentler. If you want the frame to make a statement, black does it best.

How to choose black sunglasses for your face shape

A frame that contrasts with the shape of your face usually looks most balanced: angular or cat-eye frames on a round face, softer oval frames on a square one. Our guide to sunglasses for round faces goes through it in detail, with measurements for each recommended model.

Can you return black sunglasses from Corlin?

Yes. Shipping is free, and you have 30 days to return black sunglasses from Corlin, so you can order two pairs and compare them at home.
