Gelo Black Black

Gelo Black Black is an aviator with a crossbar running across the top of the front, in black acetate with black lenses. Cut in acetate rather than metal, the shape reads heavier than a classic aviator.

Mazzucchelli acetate from Italy, German OBE hinges, and CR39 lenses with UV400 protection against 100% of UVA and UVB rays. Designed in Stockholm.

At 55 mm wide and 47 mm deep, the lens is among the largest we make, in our oversized fit. A faux-leather case and a carton box are included.

Are the lenses polarised?
No. Gelo has black-tinted CR39 lenses with UV400 protection, which blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays.

Which face shapes does Gelo suit?
Oversized is our largest fit, so Gelo needs a medium to larger face to sit correctly. The crossbar draws a horizontal line across the front, which shortens the look of a longer face.

Can the fit be adjusted?
Yes. Warm the temples in warm water for 10-20 seconds, bend them gently inwards or outwards, and let them cool to hold the new shape.
