Eight Years of Corlin

When we started Corlin in 2018, we were two students in Sweden with an idea to cautiously design high-quality and familiar eyewear. We wanted to create frames you would keep coming back to year after year, designed with the same attention to detail and quality normally reserved for luxury products, but in a way that felt more approachable and understated.

Looking back from our very first collection to our most recent, we can see how far the journey has taken us. Each collection has been a small step forward in refining our design and improving our craft. Eight years later, that original idea still guides us every day.

Here's to eight years. And to everything still ahead.

— The Corlin Team

Our Journey

2018

Two Swedish students. One idea. A debut collection of five sunglasses designed in Stockholm, inspired by the classic silhouettes of the 1960s. One of those five was Modena — a style that would go on to become one of Corlin's best-loved frames.

2019

This was the year we began to understand what we truly wanted to bring to people: eyewear that felt familiar yet considered, accessible yet elevated. We were sharpening our vision, refining our design language, and laying the groundwork for the brand Corlin was destined to become.

2020

The collection expanded, new styles took shape, and more people began discovering Corlin for the first time. A growing community of customers was proof that the idea was resonating. The brand was finding its footing, and the momentum was building.

2021

Two new and soon to be iconic silhouettes entered the collection: Gelo and Todd. But 2021 was also the year Corlin began to explore color in a new way. Our first tinted lenses arrived, and with them, Cinnamon – a warm, signature shade that would become one of our most recognisable lenses. The world of Corlin was expanding.

2022

Our most defining year yet. We launched Corlin Original – 18 reinvented styles with distinctive frames and coloured lenses that captured exactly who we are as a brand. Among them, Alex quickly became a fan favourite. Corlin Original wasn't just a collection. It was a statement.

2023

Corlin unveiled a new logotype and a refreshed set of graphic elements – a visual identity that more accurately reflected the brand we had grown into. Same values. Sharper expression. The year we also hosted an event for our popup at NK, one of Stockholm's most iconic destinations.

2024

Corlin was growing internationally. We took the brand to Amsterdam, having a popup at Glamcult and connecting with the audience in one of Europe's most style-conscious cities. It was a milestone moment in Corlin's international story. Today, Corlin can be found worldwide – worn by people who value the same things we do, no matter where they are.

2025

Our frames Selma and Aidan has now arrived – and customers haven't stopped reaching for them since. What started as two new additions to the collection quickly became two of Corlin's most loved styles, and today they sit firmly among our bestsellers. They're proof that when design and feeling come together, something lasting is created.

2026

This year we launched our SS26 collection – our most considered work yet, and a clear signal of where Corlin is headed. But we're not done yet, we have big ideas in motion for the rest of the year. We're proud of how far we've come and excited for where we will go.
