Men's Ski Goggles

Corlin does not make a separate men's ski goggle. Both frames are unisex and one size, and the decision that actually matters is the lens you put in front of your eyes. A Category 3 lens comes fitted, and the rest swap on with magnets.

Do Corlin make men's ski goggles?

Not as a separate model. Reuben and Claude are both unisex and one size, because a ski goggle is fitted against your face and your helmet rather than by gender. What you are choosing between is the shape of the frame, the colors it comes in and the magnetic lens you put in it. See both frames

One size, and what that means in practice

Ski goggles are not cut in a men's and a women's size the way clothing is. They are fitted against the face and the helmet, and Corlin sells both frames in one size for that reason. The question worth asking is not which size you take but whether the frame seals.

Run a finger along the top edge: it should sit flush across the brow with no gap you can feel air through, and it should not press on the bridge of the nose. A wide face tends to notice pressure at the temples first and a narrow one tends to notice a gap there, so that is the spot to check either way.

The strap adjusts on both frames, and Reuben's interchangeable straps are listed as working with every helmet type. Beyond that it is a 30-day return window.

One frame, and the lens you put in it

Because the lenses are magnetic, the frame is the smaller decision of the two. Nineteen lenses exist across the range, ten fitting Reuben and nine fitting Claude, and swapping one takes a few seconds with gloves on.

The lens that comes fitted is Category 3, the band for bright sun, which under EN ISO 12312-1 means it lets through 8% to 18% of visible light. A Category 1 orange or pink is the lens for flat light and falling snow, and the clear lens is for floodlit night skiing. UV400 is on every one of them regardless of tint.

That is the whole argument for a magnetic system: one frame covers the season if you add a second lens, instead of a second pair of goggles.

Questions about men's ski goggles

Is there a men's version of Corlin ski goggles?

No. Reuben and Claude are the two frames Corlin makes, and both are sold as unisex in one size. Nothing in the range is cut for a man or for a woman.

The two frames differ in shape, in the number of colorways and in which lens family they take. None of those differences is about who wears them.

Will a one-size ski goggle fit a wider face?

Both frames are one size and are designed to sit flush against most face shapes. Corlin publishes no frame-width measurement, so the check is whether the frame seals along the brow without a gap and without pressing at the temples.

A goggle that does not seal will fog, which makes a bad fit obvious quickly. Returns are open for 30 days, so trying them with your own helmet is the practical test.

How many lenses fit each frame?

Ten magnetic lenses fit Reuben and nine fit Claude, nineteen in the range. The two frames take different lens shapes and there is no adapter, so the frame you own decides which spares you can buy.

Check the frame name on your goggle before ordering a spare lens.

Do Corlin ski goggles fit over a helmet?

Yes. The strap adjusts on both Corlin frames, and Reuben's interchangeable straps are listed as working with every helmet type. Whether a particular helmet and goggle sit well together is still worth checking on your own head, and returns are open for 30 days.

Which lens should I buy as a second lens?

A Category 1 orange or pink. The lens that comes fitted is Category 3 for bright sun, so the gap it leaves is flat light: an overcast day, falling snow or fog, when a dark lens makes the surface hard to read.

The clear lens is the separate case, for floodlit night skiing. If you want a frame and a spare together, the ski bundles pair them at a set price.

Are these snowboard goggles too?

Yes. Ski goggles and snowboard goggles are not built differently, and these are the same frames, lenses and fit either way.
